Francois Mikulski, Volnay Santenots Milieu Vintage:2021 The 2000 Dom Pérignon P2A plethora of floral elements, especially violet and lilac, is present on the aromas of dark cherry, red currant and pretty spice nuances. There is again a lovely sense of energy to the detailed, stony and tautly muscular flavors that possess focused power that seems to build on the youthfully austere, sappy and impressively long finish. This is a classically styled Santenots that will also need at least some patience.
