the pattern here looks to me like it might have been made with the end of an old skeleton key but I'm not sure

but it is really fantastic

There is a bit of dust caught in one corner underneath the glass and some dings to the wood on the perimeter of the tray but it is is very good overall condition

Quite a fun one and a great gift I'd think for any motorcycle-loving or adventure-fantasizing friend or partner

I love to imagine the delight OH Whitman must have taken in using these (and what a perfect name), and that he will continue to be imagined whenever one uses, or simply looks at them, yet. Late 19th century or so I would guess. 4 3 8" tall. 1 11 16"
