An albumen photo I believe, with a clarity and quality of detail that is just fantastic and makes these women, their house and trees and chickens! feel almost surreally vivid and alive. I've always got an eye out for things that feel like inspiration for a novel yet to be written, and this photograph feels like that to me. On reverse, an
