it has some relationship with what is a very rich history and is certainly a very charming thing

Alone: 3 1/8” w x 3 3/4” t x 1 7/8” d

and all carved from one piece of wood with no notable chips

I think some of which would come off with a good cleaning

These Cases appear to have lived on Buckham Farm, on the outskirts of Beaminster in Dorset, England, and seem to have been trained to some extent in chemistry and medicine, too but what makes this especially interesting reading is the far ranging variety of instructions and recipes
