Owen Roe “Ex Umbris” Syrah, 2022 Valdobbiadene 100% malbec from Federico Villafane's2019 vintage notes: Dark cocoa, bright boysenberries, springtime forest, chestnuts. Palate is vibrant berries on a leather structure. 100% Syrah, 11 months French Oak. "Ex Umbris" was introduced as a one time bottling in 2002 after a wild fire struck the vineyards' surrounding hillsides.
