Fabulous Antique Dodecagon Fabric over Board Pin Cushion old wooden spatula There is a small chipA beauty of an antique 12 sided geometric pin cushion; I can't even imagine how one had the patience to make this one! The structure underneath the fabric feels to be card board, and then each of the twelve panels appear to have been hand stitched together, with stick pins placed over each seam probably for a mix of reinforcement and decorative effect. I just love it as an object, with this mix of solid and striped and plaid fabrics amplifying its
