2% higher in alcohol
Medium-bodied with good acidity
Bright fruit flavors make a fine combination with firm acidity and a rich mousse
it’s not completely clear that it will ever successfully integrate all of it
This offers good if not truly exceptional quality for the appellation
Denis Mortet, Chambolle Musigny Beaux Bruns other_regions_australia 2% higher in alcohol(from vines planted in 1984; 60% new wood). Evident but not dominant wood influence is present on the overtly spicy liqueur like aromas of plum and dark cherry. The rich and quite generously proportioned medium bodied flavors exude a subtle minerality on the bitter cherry pit inflected finish. This well made effort is sufficiently firmly structured that it will need at least 5 years of cellaring first.
