Christ is Coming Soon, Foil and Reverse Painted Glass Folk Art Sign Fox's Book of Martyrs ) Dating to the 1930sI've long been admiring reverse painted glass and foil (also called tinsel) text based signs; folk art tinsel "paintings" (most commonly flowers in urns, etc) were also a thing, but it is the signs that I really love, which from what I've seen were rarely understated in their proclamations! Which makes perfect sense, as what better way to make a proclamation "pop" than to render it in shiny gold or silver against black?! The combination of gold foil,
