What I most love about punch paper embroideries is that they almost always incorporate text

prompting "cheerful" to pop up

Monogrammed in ink at lower left, and "Boston" at lower right. And it was in Boston that I found it. C. 1830s 40s I believe, and a lovely gift if ever I saw one. 7 7 8" x 4 13 16". Very good antique condition, color just gorgeous.
