c. 1908 Watercolor Postcard of Native American Chief on Horse six legs Polychrome over carved woodIt seems a bit curious that this should have been painted on an Austrian postcard (dated 1908,) but so it was. What a marvelous watercolor I think it is, loaded with color and detailed pattern, from his elaborate feather headdress to his fur cape to his fringed pants and beaded moccasin, plus red patterned blanket and reins on this beautiful horse too, charging full steam ahead. Fantastic. 5 5 8" x 3 5 8" and in very good condition. It looks like
