(with US Army Stamp) metal work and the role of homophobiaThis envelop, postmarked April 23, 1947 in Camden, NJ, of course struck me as much as an Andy Warhol as a Campbell's Soup company cover impossible now to look at the Tomato Soup can graphic otherwise (and one is reminded of what a great graphic it is.) And the layers of specific information here make this one all the better between the post war "Enlist U. S. Army" stamp in red and the typed address of the recipient: Allen B. Dumont, Inc. Allen B.
