Mid Century Handmade Glass Microscope Slides with Textile Fibers 1980s basket The most charming example II found this set of slides along with the set with pigments I just listed, and while these are less visually interesting, I really love them for the spectrum of strands of different fibers they capture, from linen to flax to wild silk to alpaca wool to fibers taken from the crown of President Jackson's beaver hat! (which I believe dates this set to 1965 and surely there's a story there!) Looking at things like this makes me want to write a story or
