I'm completely smitten with this one, which I take as a self portrait of a thoughtful reader done many many years ago. Not sure what "good book" it was pulled from, but clearly was done on an end page removed at some point could well be the good book being referenced was The Bible, but she looks more like a reader of novels or poetry to me! Marvelous face, wonderful hair, and I just love the polka dots under her armpits! 5 7 8" x
