This is a modern 40mm f2 lens designed to look like an older Nikon pre-AI lens- it even has the little coupling ears- but with full AI compatibility and CPU contacts

but it's not ideal

as long as they have a B50-size front fitting

but focusing is manual

Nikon does have software available for this scanner
