The 2007 Alabaster came from pre-phylloxera vines yielding a miniscule half ton of fruit per acre
Jean-Paul Droin, Chablis Valmur Size:6x750ml one of Chardonnay from Mesnil(from recently replanted vines totaling 1. 04 ha; aged in 50% wood but only a small percentage is new). A background dollop of wood surrounds pungent aromas of mineral reduction, petrol and green fruit. The spicy flavors dont possess quite the same mid palate concentration though there is still plenty of punch and muscle on the sneaky long and nicely complex finale. (91 93) 2026+
