Odes to Tippoo the Dog, Wonderful c.1840s Mounted Hand-colored Storybook Engravings, Set of Five vintage bronze 4 3/4" t x 3Hard not to be charmed by these! With a little research I identified them as five of six hand colored engravings on letterpress from an early 19th century (c. 1810 20s) children's book by I. Baker titled My Tippoo which someone long ago carefully trimmed, preserving images and text, and mounted to backing paper (that backing paper is old and feels pretty much of one with the cut pages.) So five portraits ready for framing of the marvelous, faultless,
