Hard-A-Port Cut Plug Lovely Ladies Playing Cards, c. 1890 early 20th century Chinese cinnabar box and I think the cap'sReally fun, and very rare (I found a complete deck that sold at auction for $1400), here are 6 Hard A Port Cut Plug tobacco insert playing cards, which date to 1890 or so and were manufactured by Moore & Calvi Tobacco Company. Sad of course not to to have a full deck, but these six alone represent quite the cast of characters! The backs are great too, blue on cream cream stock, with the Hard A Port sailor logo at center. Cards measure 3 7 8" x 2 5
