The oval die is for use with the Makita 18V LXT Cordless Metal Hole Punch (XPP01, sold separately). The oval die has a metal plate thickness capacity range of 5 64 (2 mm) to 5 32 (4 mm) in general steel and 1 8 (3 mm) to 5 32 (4 mm) in stainless steel.
