I must confess that the winery was larger than I had presupposed
plus hints of pencil shavings
but it has been a fun ride since release
with a lively spine of acidity and delicately phenolic back-end grip
Nicolas Potel, Chambertin other_regions Alejandro Vigil is one ofVery generous wood presently dominates the nose, indeed to the point that I question whether there is enough mid palate sap to absorb it successfully. To be sure, this is no shrinking violet with big, rich and powerful flavors that really coat the mouth with both sap and tannins but this potentially risks drying out with time in bottle. A question mark for me. (90 93?) 2016+
