I purchased him together with a portrait of a young woman with chained brooch pinned to a big blue ribbon--from a seller who knew nothing about them

Radiant Old Mexican Folk Pottery Bowl in Yellow and Green hand-carved tool 6 1/2" x 4"Gorgeous. This is an old Mexican folk pottery bowl, likely from Oaxaca, though if it weren't stamped MEX on the underside I might almost think it was Persian. Nothing better than that yellow and green, just radiant. 6 1 2" d x 2 1 4" t and good condition. Crazing to the creamy white as evident and some irregularity to the form, all to the good I think. No notable chips, cracks or other issues.
