Description
30% of which is from Brélance with major contributions from Les Tremblots and Grands Champs)
There is a lovely sophistication to the mouth feel of the intensely mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that also possess wonderfully silky tannins though the natural firmness of a fine Fuées makes its presence known on the gorgeously subtle and persistent finish
with a hint of balsamic spice giving way to red currants and a dusting of violet candies
Tasted just after bottling and a final blend of 58% Mourvedre and 42% Grenache
Bottled in December last year
Pietri Geraud, Banyuls Size:12x750ml 30% of which is fromBottled 2009. Mainly Grenache Noir. Bright, deep, blackish, very intense and wine like. Herbs and freshness. Really together and exciting. I could imagine drinking this with food. Not at all unlike a late bottled vintage port. Christmas fruit flavours.
