A lightweight, Walsh (1913 1964) fought 91 times during his career, with 68 wins, 20 losses, 2 draws and 1 no contest. He won the British title in 1936 by a technical knockout of Jack 'Kid' Berg. He successfully defended it against Harry Mizler later the same year but lost the belt in 1938 to Dave Crowley on points. A Churchman's Cigarettes picture card.
