Quintus Vintage:2012 with the 2011 Flaccianello dellaThe inaugural vintage of Chteau Quintus, with only ex Tertre Daugay fruit used. Leather, plum and spice aromatics are at the fore. The palate is round but with a fresh, chalky, terroir note, and there is a pebble sucking finish. It was early days but the wine is honest and pleasing. The oak is just about integrated. It's ready for drinking now.
