Pretty, Old Ball in Cage Carved Whimsy with Scalloped Edges serving ware she was carefully and finelyA pretty refined little ball in cage whimsy, with sort of a scalloping to the walls of the cage, a pointy top, and a slight elevation to the base. Very nicely done, walnut I think, and definitely with a good amount of age to it. It stands up sturdily on its feet, but they were carved slightly unevenly, so in certain positions (not all) it leans a bit one way, a little like the Tower of Pisa, which I personally like:) The ball rolls around freely
