Godey from 1830–1878
I’ve always got an eye out for old art school color charts and the like
textured black vase featuring two large
I was told that this wonderful old tin mill came from the Dummer estate in Rowley
with super long tongue and wonderful patterning for the scales
Happy Couple in their Chairs, Pair of Old Painted Carvings carved stone obelisk Godey from 1830–1878What a pair, happy together for a long time already, and I do hope forever! Obviously they were carved by the same person but it appears of two different woods, and decorated with what seems to have been a water based paint, a fair bit of it lost or faded but lots of good color remaining, Great faces, great attituses, and I how the area underneath her chair was outlined but never carved out. Total charmers. Both measure about 4 1 4" t x 7 8" w x 2 1
