Large Mid-Century Matte Black Italian Ceramic Planter storage container because many of the gravesThis planter has about the most beautiful form I can imagine, with wide bowl rising gracefully from cylindrical body, making for a truly stunning silhouette. Glazed matte black, it bears a strong resemblance to Californian Architectural Pottery pieces from the 1950s and 1960s, and also a fair resemblance to some pieces designed by Ettore Sottsass for Bitossi, but I have not found its exact match. It is signed 683 Italy in yellow orange on the bottom.
