Glazed matte black, it bears a strong resemblance to Californian Architectural Pottery pieces from the 1950s and 1960s, and also a fair resemblance to some pieces designed by Ettore Sottsass for Bitossi, but I have not found its exact match. It is signed 683 Italy in yellow orange on the bottom.
