The sleeker though less voluminous and rich medium weight flavors compensate by having more minerality and delineation on the lingering finish where a hint of bitter cherry arises

This is not a CC of refinement but it is indisputably impressive in its fashion and a wine that should age and improve gracefully over the next 12 to 15 years and last thereafter for a similar period

Several fruitier reds from alluvial and gravel soils are raised in tank

and is undoubtedly not an easy property to maintain

Haye Vintage:2009 The sleeker though less voluminous50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot. Blueish purple. Very little nose. Marked acidity plus light sweetness. Solid but a bit dull.
