2023 Place of Changing Winds 'Larderdark' Chardonnay, Macedon Ranges, Australia Bernhard Ott which is a limestone richFrom the cool elevated vineyards of Mount Macedon, Larderdark is Chardonnay planted on basalt rich soils 550 m above sea level, offering brightness and tension uncommon for Australia. The fruit is hand picked, whole cluster pressed, and fermented using native yeasts in a mix of stainless steel and older barrels; levage runs about ten months on fine lees with minimal new oak, and the wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered, with low sulfur. 1 btl limit per
