full-south exposure parcel with 60-year-old vines in deep Jurassic limestone • Direct-pressed into traditional pipas (large neutral barrels) and fermented with indigenous yeast • 12 months in oak (no bâtonnage) and 4 additional months in tank before bottling unfined and unfiltered • 1500 bottles produced • ‘Tola’ was the legendary prior owner

With the Premire Ctes shallowest, stoniest soils, its wines often synthesize Le Monts intense minerality with Le Haut Lieus generous texture. Clos du Bourg is often the richest and most powerful wine in the lineup. The Clos du Bourg Sec has 5. 7 grams residual sugar, 4. 7 grams per liter of total acidity and a pH of 3. 17.
