Description
The floral finish is long and clean highlighting notes of bing cherry and citrus blossoms
A pleasantly tart wine with notes of candied red fruit on the palate
I picked the Brut Sonate 2011 to include in my book
8% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot
A wine to be drunk at all times
Domaine Alex Moreau - Bernard Moreau et Fils Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge Vieilles Vignes, Cote de Beaune, France 2021 Abruzzo The floral finish is longClassic ruby color. Exceptionally fresh and cool aromas include those of red and dark pinot fruit laced with pepper and newly turned earth wisps. There is fine punch to the delicious middleweight flavors that conclude in a bitter pit fruit inflected and sneaky long finish. This is moderately rustic but not really austere and is a wine that should be approachable young if desired. Drink 2026+.
