2020 Domaine Michel Juillot Clos des Barraults Rouge Mercurey 1er Cru 1.5L Magnum, Burgundy, France Cesar Marquez going through the spontaneous primary100% Pinot Noir. From 20 , 35 , and 43 year old vines planted on clay limestone soils covered with hard marble pebbles. The grapes are 100% destemmed prior to fermentation, followed by aging for 18 months in oak barrels (30% new oak). Succulent and mouth coating, with medium bodied flavors that are intensely mineral driven, all wrapped in a wonderfully long and well balanced finale
