2019 Far Mountain Amotus Cabernet Sauvignon, Moon Mountain District, USA Pinhook Tximista Vermouth BlancoAmotus is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Alta Vista Vineyard on Moon Mountainold vines planted in the early 1970s and dry farmed on rocky, volcanic slopes above Sonoma Valley. The sites elevation and poor, fast draining soils give naturally small clusters and a dark, mineral tinged profile. Fermented with native yeast and raised in a mixture of new and used french oak. In the glass its focused and savoryblackcurrant and dark cherry layered with
