Crinum hildebrandtii Spring Starburst Central America drought-tolerant specimen for the sunnyCrinum 'Spring Starburst' is a 2020 Plant Delights JLBG introduction of the little known African (Madagascar, Comoros Islands) native, Crinum hildebrandtii. Despite being discovered in 1875, Crinum hildebrandtii was unknown in living collections until 1989 when plantsman Dave Lehmiller received a bulb from the volcanic slopes of Comoros Island's Mt. Karthala. Our introduction is a seedling selection from that important collection. Crinum hildebrandtii
