The chairs are finely carved from high quality solid mahogany, the chairs having back rails & arms carved with acanthus leaves, the vaseiform backsplats are carved in the Chinese Chippendale manner. The 'drop in' seats have recently been professionally recovered in a high quality William Morris style fabric, the chairs are raised on straight legs. The set comprises
