Selaginella ludoviciana Avery Island Pogonia From Iran and other nearbySelaginella ludoviciana 'Avery Island' is a little known Southeast (Florida panhandle to Mississippi) coastal native spikemoss, that's quite rare, and considered vulnerable (G3 rank) through most of its range. It's first cousin to the superficially similar looking, but wider distributed Selaginella apoda.
