Hillrock Estate Distillery Single Malt Whiskey Bottled in Bond Michter’s US-1 Small Batch KentuckyLocated in New York's Hudson Valley, Hillrock Estate is one of the last distilleries Dave Pickerell worked on before his untimely passing in 2018. Hillrock is one of the only American distilleries to grow its own grains, and floor malt on site. Their single malt whiskey is made from barley smoked for 16 hours usingpeat imported from Scotland. It's aged in charred American Oak, ex Bourbon and Sherry Casks, then bottled at 96. 4 proof. According to the
