That combination is the answer to a specific problem: heavily soiled wool carpet, where an alkaline emulsifier is exactly the wrong tool. Wool is a protein fibre and alkali damages it but light duty acid rinses have traditionally lacked the cleaning power for heavy soil. Rinse Pro is built to do both.
